Families frustrated after items removed from Pearl cemetery plots
PEARL, Miss. (WJTV) – Families who have loved ones buried at a Pearl cemetery are upset. On Thursday, people had to go through a trailer bed of bagged and labeled flower arrangements, flags, solar lights and memorabilia that was removed from their loved ones’ gravesites at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Alabama Executes man For 1998 Cherokee Co. Murder
A man convicted in a 1998 murder in Cherokee County, Alabama was executed by lethal injection Thursday evening at the William C. Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, Ala. According to court records, Keith Edmund Gavin was convicted of murder in Illinois on June 9, 1982. (WTOK) - A massive technology outage affected many technology reliant industries Friday morning, including WTOK-TV. “The problem was caused by a company called CrowdStrike which is an international company that provides us with some of our software,” said Jim Williams, WTOK IT Engineer. “They pushed out a bad patch file and it caused Windows systems to not be able to boot, and caused them to just keep trying to reboot over and over. We had to find a way to get in there and delete that file, and it’s not that easy.”
