    Cuba Monday Concerts on the Lawn Begin June 24

    CUBA, NY — The summer Monday evening concert series on the lawn of Cuba-Rushford Central Elementary School, 15 Elm St., begins June 24 with classic rock group not Norman.

    Concerts are scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. The lineup for the summer series featuring area talent is below. The sole Saturday show scheduled for Aug. 3 is Broadway Review, scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m.

    • July 1: Old Dawgs/New Tricks
    • July 8: Generations
    • July 15: Panloco Steel Drum Band
    • July 22: Six Pence Duo
    • July 29: Brian Ash and Pete Gilroy
    • Saturday, Aug. 3: Broadway Review, 6 to 8 p.m.
    • Aug. 5: NY Standard Time
    • Aug. 12: The Chumps
    • Aug. 19: The Chillbilly's & Friends
    • Aug. 26: Allegany Alumni Band and Friends

    Concessions will include hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, popcorn, chips, candy, water and soda. Restrooms will be available. Tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be sold.

    Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Donations for the concerts will be gratefully accepted.

    All events are alcohol- and substance-free and intended for all ages.

    In the event of rain, the concerts will be moved to the Palmer Opera House or to another location not yet decided.

    The summer entertainments are made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Arts Council of Wyoming County.
