Cincinnati Warbirds WWII planes to be shown Labor Day weekend at Lunken Airport
CINCINNATI (WXIX) -The Flying Legends of Victory Tour will showcase rare WWII planes at Lunken Airport this Labor Day weekend as part of the Lunkin Airport Days. The event will feature the B-17 “Sentimental Journey” and the B-25 “Maid in the Shade” planes that attendees can tour and book a flight.
Impact day: Storms could disrupt outdoor plans, but will bring needed relief from heat
While the storms will disrupt some outdoor plans Saturday, this cold front will be bringing us a highly anticipated cool down. The afternoon brings higher opportunities for showers and storms, especially along and east of I-71 after 1pm. An isolated strong storm with gusty winds can't be ruled out. Highs will be around 83 between storms with a heat index in the upper 80s to low 90s. Gusty wind remains the primary threat.
