4H supports Pet Adoptions of Cuero

Although 4H members are known for their devotion to farm animals, the De-Witt County 4H wanted to show care and support for the homeless dogs and cats in the area. So for their February community service project, the club collected pet and shelter supplies for Pet Adoptions of Cuero.

PAOC President Linda Anzaldua was in awe of the major collection of donations like dog food, dog treats, and cat food, and the group also brought much needed cleaning supplies.

A visit to Pet Adoptions of Cuero means lots of puppies can be cuddled and the 4H team members were happy to provide some love and attention to 5 “up for adoption” new pups. PAOC is so thankful for the communities support with supplies and assistance in helping the non profit rescue meet its daily need of caring for over 60 orphaned pets.
