To show appreciation to the DeWitt County’s livestock producers, farmers and other agricultural business in the area, The Cuero Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Agriculture Lunch & LearnBusiness Luncheon on Wednesday, May 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Anne Friar Thomas Homemaking Building in Cuero.
2024 Lunch & Learn Series Ag Business Luncheon will feature keynote speaker Melissa Hamilton, Executive Director of Government Relations with the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the luncheon will be catered by KBs BBQ. Cuero High School FFA team will also present at the luncheon on their recent win at the state competition for their tractor project.
More on our Speaker: Melissa Hamilton, Executive Director of Government Relations for the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, will serve as the 2024 Ag Business Luncheon Keynote Speaker. The Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) is the largest and oldest livestock association based in Texas. Hamilton oversees legislative and regulatory efforts for TSCRA in Austin and Washington D.C. and directs the TSCRA political action committee.
She advises TSCRA leaders and members on the development, implementation, strategy, and communication of policy and political issues. Tickets will be $25 per Chamber member; $30 per non-Chamber member. Tables of 8 are $350. Vendor booth tables available for $100 for members/$150 for non-members and include a luncheon ticket.
