    The Cuero ISD Education Foundation awarded $102,750 in scholarships during the Cuero High School Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 16.

    The Foundation’s board of directors would like to congratulate these students on their accomplishments and thank the Foundation’s generous donors for their support. Their contributions have helped create an enduring legacy of making dreams come true since 2002. Scholarships were awarded as follows: Clarence and Alva Arndt Agriculture Scholarship was awarded to Truitt Luddeke, Madison Meyer, Darcy Leinen, and Miles Garrett Mills. Each student received $3,000.

    Cuero ISD Education Foundation General Scholarship was awarded to RyLeigh Moehr and Mason Notaro. Each student received $2,500.

    Lenny Moore Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Audrey Netardus, Hannah Dolan, and Tanner Fuchs. Each student received $2,500.

    The Debra Baros Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Elizabeth Kallus, with a scholarship amount of $2,500.

    Gail Elaine Salcher Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Jaclyn Anzaldua, with a scholarship amount of $2,000.

    Willie J. and Eva G. Self Memorial Scholarship was awarded to RyLeigh Moehr in the amount of $1,500.

    TrustTexas Bank Education Scholarship was awarded to Jacob Keller in the amount of $1,000.

    Ada Koenning Kirk Serendipity Scholarship was awarded to Leean Leck in the amount of $750.

    Kay Reese Memorial Scholarship was awarded to RyLeigh Moehr in the amount of $1,500.

    Lawrence E. Dietze Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Madison Meyer in the amount $500.

    George & Pat Olson Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Mason Notaro in the amount of $1,000.

    Cuero ISD Education Foundation Vocational/Technical Scholarship was awarded to Madalyn Kroos, Jack Bauer, and Carly Pullin. Each student received $2,500.

    Frederick W. Fischer “Helping Hands” Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Truitt Luddeke, Madison Meyer, Adeline Chilek, Fallon Whitt, Camdyn Apodakis, and Gary Modrow. Each student received $10,000.

    In June, the Foundation plans to award an additional $90,000 in Frederick W. Fischer 'Helping Hands' Scholarships to graduates of Cuero High School currently enrolled in college.

    'The dedication and hard work of these students have truly paid off, and we are honored to recognize their accomplishments,' said Sean Douglas, Executive Director of the Cuero ISD Education Foundation. 'We congratulate each scholarship recipient and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.'
