Sadly, they are at Pet Adoptions of Cuero. And there is another bunch of puppies at the Cuero Animal Control Facility.

If there was ever a time to consider taking in “one more” pet or introducing your family to pet ownership, NOW is the time to step up. Lifestyle changes, pet expenses, housing changes and lack of spayed or neutered pets is causing the worst epidemic of homeless canines and felines not only in Texas but all over the USA. The shelters all across the country are screaming “HELP” as there is not enough kennels, pens, cages or facility space to house and take in more pets.

All rescues and foster organizations are exhausted, stressed and overwhelmed – but most of all sad and concerned that this influx of “dumped” pets gets worse and worse every day. Staff at the shelters are limited in the amount of time that can be spent with the pets and as a result the lack of socialization and a “human touch” results in many pets becoming “cage crazy.” Then unfortunately pets become sensitive and shy and need extra efforts to make them adoptable.

Pet Adoptions of Cuero is a no-kill facility, so besides the puppies there are dozens and dozens of mature, adult and senior dogs.

Please open up your heart and home and visit soon to find a FIDO or GARFIELD that deserves a second chance as a part of your family. It is rewarding and teaches the youngsters responsibility.

The Pet Adoptions of Cuero shelter is open every day of the year from 8 till noon or call 361-243-8550 for a late afternoon adoption visit appointment at 407 US Highway 183 South.

The Cuero Animal Control Facility is located at 1797 FM 766. Call 361-210-9773 for more information on their puppies.
