The Link hosting Kindergarten Readiness Camps this month
CULLMAN, Ala. – The Link of Cullman County is gearing up to host two Kindergarten Readiness Camps this month. Each is a five-day, two hours per day program designed to ease incoming kindergarteners who may not have been in any pre-school setting into a daily routine. CULLMAN, Ala. – Starting with the TNT Fireworks Bassmaster Elite tournament and festival that was held June 27-30, 2024, all guests, vendors and anglers visiting Smith Lake Park can connect to free Wi-Fi powered by Sprout Fiber Internet. Over the past several months, the Cullman County Tourism Board has worked with the park and the Sprout team at Cullman Electric Cooperative to create a custom fiber-to-the-premise (FTTX) solution with ample bandwidth to support Wi-Fi for large community events, such as the Bassmaster Elite series, which broadcasted live coverage of the event. Obituary: Frankie Karen Graves
Mrs. Graves was born February 29, 1948, in Cullman County, Alabama, to the late Talmadge & Evelyn Hendrix. She passed away July 1, 2024, in Cullman County, Alabama. Mrs. Graves is survived by her husband, Gary Graves; son, Joseph Scott Patillo; stepsons, Eric Graves, Jason Graves; granddaughters, Ashley Hasenbein (Will), Taylor Felkins; great granddaughters, Ruth Hasenbein, Violet Felkins; and her sister, Dondra Toomey (Michael). Mrs. Graves was preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to send a very special ‘Thank You’ to Southern Care Hospice, and Nurse, Jessica Richards. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
