A new sushi restaurant is coming to Culver City , according to a recent liquor license filed by Incomplate, LLC at 10726 Jefferson Blvd where Sushi Mashiko currently stands. The owner told WNLA that they are working on an omakase concept for the space and should be open within the next few months, but did not provide further details at this time.

Sushi Mashiko was established by chef Motoichi “Mickey” Horino in 1990 as one of the first sushi restaurants in L.A. It is unclear whether the longtime establishment will relocate or permanently close.

Stay tuned for more details as this story develops.
