Echo Park -- Police apprehended one of two suspects in connection with the theft of a U-Haul truck this afternoon, police said. After a five-minute police pursuit -- from 3:53 pm to 3:58 pm -- two suspects jumped out of the vehicle and fled, according to LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman.
