Man charged with deadly hit-and-run while under the influence in Fayetteville
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Police have caught and charged a driver they say was responsible for a deadly hit-and-run on Tuesday in Fayetteville. Tyrone Thomas Jr., 25, of Fayetteville, has been identified as the pedestrian who was struck and killed in the intersection of Pamalee and Country Club drives. Fayetteville police responded to the scene just after 10:20 p.m. at the request of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

Fayetteville, N.C.- The Fayetteville Public Works Commission (PWC) hosted a tour of the Hoffer Water Treatment Facility on July 8, 2024 for Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), DEQ staff members, State Senator Val Applewhite, Mayor Mitch Colvin, County Commission Chairman Glenn Adams, and executive staff members for the city and county.
