A visitation will be held in the Fredericksburg City Council Chambers (Hanover entrance) of City Hall, 715 Princess Anne Street, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, to honor the Rev. Lawrence A. Davies Jr.’s civic service. An additional visitation will be held at Fredericksburg Baptist Church, 1019 Princess Anne Street, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. which will be live-streamed to Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site), 801 Sophia Street.
