Dartmouth Police arrest two in alleged large-scale retail theft ring across Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Two Massachusetts residents have been arrested by local police for shoplifting, however, it appears they may be involved in something bigger. According to police, on Friday, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Dartmouth Police responded to a call regarding shoplifting at Kohl’s, 81 Faunce Corner Road. The shoplifting in this case is alleged to be connected to a larger organized retail crime group.

Vermont police seek help identifying semi driver in ‘ongoing’ animal cruelty case
The Brattleboro Police Department (BPD) is asking for public help in identifying the driver of a semi truck associated with “an ongoing animal cruelty case.”. Around 7 a.m. on July 5, police were notified about a four-week old pit bull puppy that was found in a dumpster at a Citgo gas station on Putney Road in Brattleboro, Vermont. The puppy was transported to the Humane Society in an “emaciated” condition but ultimately passed away.
