BGSU TE Fannin's rise in college football 'not a surprise' to those who know him best
BOWLING GREEN — Harold Fannin, Jr.’s rapid ascension into one of the best tight ends in college football wasn’t much of a surprise to the coaches and players the Bowling Green State University star has had in his life. From his days doing nearly everything on the gridiron at Canton McKinley High School until now, when the Falcons’ junior is finding new ways to impress the nation, Fannin’s talent level was substantial. “He’s a true football player,” McKinley coach Antonio Hall said. “A lot of guys play football, but he’s a football player.” When asked to recall his first impressions of Fannin in high school, BGSU football coach Scot Loeffler said: “He’s going to be a pro football player. There was no question.”
