The exhibit features small and large works in a number of mediums including etching, acrylic, mixed media, soft pastels, and limited edition artist books. Creating is key in terms of understanding both the individual and collective journey; and empowering individual expression. Susan offers tailored small group Art Workshops at Gail Toombs Laughing Cat Designs Studio, located in the Eastsound Post Office Building, where more of her work can be viewed. Edmonds Sand Sculpture contest gets underway July 19
An annual summer tradition, the Edmonds Sand Sculpture contest is scheduled for Friday, July 19 at Brackett’s Beach, just south of the Edmonds-Kingston ferry terminal. South Tacoma Historic Property Walking Tour on July 18
TACOMA, Wash. – Community members are invited to join staff from the City’s Historic Preservation Program on a walking tour highlighting the history of the South Tacoma Way Mixed-Use Center on July 18. New evacuations issued as Pioneer Fire expands to nearly 19,000 acres
The Chelan County Sheriff's Office has issued a Level 1 Evacuation Advisory for the Stehekin area due to the ongoing Pioneer Fire, which is burning in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest near Lake Chelan. The advisory affects the region up Lake from Hazard Creek to the High Bridge Ranger Station. Spanning 18,731 acres and located 31 miles northwest of Chelan, the fire is currently 14% contained.
