LAUREL — Liam Clancy survived what turned into a marathon of a final round at the 107th Montana Men's State Amateur at Laurel Golf Club. A near two-hour weather delay halted play midway through the final round Saturday. Clancy, a Billings Central and University of Wyoming and Montana State Billings golfer, fired a 4-under par 68 to chase down leader and current Rocky Mountain College golf coach Nathan Bailey (plus-1, 73). MISSOULA, Mont. — The Miller Peak Fire burning seven miles southeast of Missoula was estimated to be 2,581 acres as of Monday and is now 25% contained. "Small areas of growth with intense and scattered fire were detected along the eastern and northwestern portions of the perimeter," mappers noted. "Small areas of intense fire were detected within the northern and and eastern portions of the perimeter. Large areas of scattered fire were detected throughout the perimeter. A moderate number of isolated fires were detected within the perimeter."

BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Bozeman Fire Department said they responded to a fire coming from a camper van in the Costco parking lot on Friday afternoon. Rural fire crews put out structure fire in Four Corners warehouse Saturday night
BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Gallatin Gateway Rural Fire Department responded to a fire in a warehouse in the Four Corners area outside of Bozeman on Saturday night. The fire department said in a post that firefighters noticed light smoke coming from a second story window when they arrived on the scene.
