Davis receives invite to Louisville camp
INEZ — Martin County guard Peyton Davis has received an invite to the Midwest Academy MadeHoops Showcase in Louisville to take place on July 27 and 28. “It’s awesome to be selected for the MADE event. The best in the country will be there,” Davis said. “I want to show the country what Martin County brings to the table.”

Though The Blue Oval has significantly dialed back its electrified ambitions as of late, that doesn’t mean the automaker isn’t also continuing to invest heavily in that area, either. In fact, one of several under-construction Ford EV battery plant sites – BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky – continues to take shape, and is on track to begin production in 2025, as originally expected. Now, with the expected population growth that comes along with this new plant, the surrounding area is working to hire more police officers as well.
Broadcast plans announced for Louisville's summer trip to the Bahamas
The University of Louisville has announced the complete broadcast schedule for the program's upcoming exhibition trip to the Bahamas for the Baha Mar Summer Hoops League. Both games will have a radio broadcast and live video stream. Games will be broadcasted on radio via 93.9 FM "The Ville" along with a free live video stream to the Floyd Street Media YouTube channel.
