Austin, Texas – Linda Anne Talley peacefully passed away and was called home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2024 at Christopher House in Austin, Tx. She was a member of the Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana. With her warrior spirit and steadfast strength she fought a decades long battle with MS and other illnesses and is now pain free. She was born and raised in St. Martinville, La. and graduated high school there.

Born March 6, 1952, the Abbeville High School graduate joined the Marine Corps Reserves in 1971 and served until 1977. He served as a deputy with the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office for many years, followed by a career in the oilfield.
