SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Billings' Boulder-Arrowhead/Big Sky majors softball team, representing Montana at the Little League Softball Northwest Region Tournament, was defeated 10-5 by Eagle, Idaho in Wednesday's semifinal round, sending Team Montana to the elimination bracket with a win needed to keep its run in the tourney alive.

The Butte Parks & Trails Foundation definitely deserves a pat on the back. Lunch in the Park resumed late Wednesday morning with a full street of food trucks, a park full of hungry music lovers and a fantastic acoustic show by this week's headliner, Cruz Contreras on the main stage/gazebo. And despite some rainclouds on the horizon, it turned out to be a great afternoon with some fantastic music, delicious food and plenty of stuff for the kids.

The team had just suffered a 10-2 defeat at the hands of Hawaii in the Little League Senior Softball West Region final at the Dale Clawson Complex.
