MISSOULA, Mont. — Missoula City Council is considering code reform for violations within the city. New changes may affect the type of penalty community members could incur. Currently, a number of codes for the city of Missoula don't have specified penalties. In the event of a violation, individuals automatically face a criminal misdemeanor.

Talen advised the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit that justices could no longer defer to EPA’s judgment on new emissions standards affecting Colstrip.

Montana Free Press is reporting that The Ivy at Great Falls will be closing in August 2024. Montana's largest nursing home is being closed due to a litany of patient safety violations for years. The Ivy at Great Falls was terminated from the federal Medicaid and Medicare programs in July of 2024.

The annual McCarthy Basketball Camps completed their 2024 summer camps on July 18th in Stevensville. Mandan man sentenced to 16 years in federal prison
MANDAN, N.D. (KFYR) - A federal judge has re-sentenced a Mandan man to more than 16 years in prison. Judge Daniel Traynor originally sentenced Kyle Johnson in May for charges stemming from an April 2023 officer-involved shooting and drug trafficking. Days later, the sentence was vacated due to unknown conflicts.
