Deere & Company reports Q3 net income
MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - Deere & Company has reported their Third Quarter net income. Deere & Company reported a net income of $1.734 billion for the third quarter which ended on July 28, or $6.29 per share, compared with net income of $2.978 billion or $10.20 per share, for the quarter that ended on July 30, 2023, according to a media release from the company. For the first nine months of the year, net income to Deere & Company was $5.855 billion, or $21.04 per share, compared with $7.797 billion, or $26.35 per share, for the same period last year.
Bloomington's Bent Elementary School says cheers to 100 years
Bent Elementary School is celebrating 100 years in the community this year. Nick Bussan, currently Bent's longest-serving teacher, has been there for 25 of those years. Illinois Valley Food & Deli Announces Monday Reopening
After some stops and starts, it looks like a longtime grocer in La Salle is ready to reopen. A message on the Illinois Valley Food & Deli Facebook page Thursday evening said “We want to thank everyone for their patience and support during the last 6 months. It has been a long journey but it will be worth it. That being said drumroll....We are opening Monday, August 19th at 7am.”
