A man who pleaded guilty to home invasion less than a year is back in custody, per a copy of a Coffee County Sheriff’s Office report.

The incident report states that on September 6, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Grifin Road in reference to Domestic Violence/Disputes.

Upon arrival, a deputy spoke with a woman who said that when she and her boyfriend got home her family member, 34-year-old Bobby Ducker was “showing out drunk.”

The woman said she locked him outside the residence due to him “showing out” in front of her and her boyfriend and then called E911 for help. Ducker, according to the victim, also busted the back door window out, opened the door through the window and came back inside “talking out of his mind and with a pocket knife.”

Ducker then allegedly pushed the woman against the front door entrance pointing a pocket knife at her while verbally threatening her. He then allegedly pointed the knife at her boyfriend with the knife while “talking crazy.”

At some point, per the inducement report, Ducker also broke a rail that is located behind the front door.

The deputy stated that he spoke to Ducker, who said that the woman came home and told him that he was drunk and locked him out of the residence. Ducker also admitted to busting out the back door window to get back inside the residence and said he brought the pocket knife to cut up some meat that they had brought home.

The report states that Ducker also said he “did not have a purpose of threatening them with a knife.”

After the deputy spoke to Ducker, he observed broken glass on the back door with shattered glass “all over the place” and noticed that a railing behind the front back door was broken. He also observed blood on the floor near the halway, and a pocket knife was found in the living room on the couch, the incident report states.

As a result, Ducker was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing - family violence and obstruction of a law enforcement officer for refusing to put his feet inside the vehicle after being instructed to multiple times.

Ducker was arrested in 2022 after deputies from the Coffee County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Highway 32 West. Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference of a man, later identified as Ducker, forcing his way inside. Upon arrival, deputies found Ducker holding a tire tool and claiming he was invited in by the homeowners, who he believed had lived there 20 years ago. However, the complainant reported that Ducker had entered the home uninvited, and several individuals inside had locked themselves in a bedroom out of fear. Witnesses said Ducker threatened them, made racist remarks, and behaved aggressively. One resident claimed Ducker charged at him with a weapon and was only calmed after being offered food. Ducker, who appeared intoxicated, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including home invasion, aggravated assault, and public drunkenness.

Ducker was later indicted on charges of home invasion and terroristic threats. He pleaded guilty to home invasion last November and received a 20 year sentence, with the first year required to serve in confinement and the remainder spent on probation. He was given credit for time served “as determined by the custodian.”
