Tempe resumes Town Lake search for possible drowning victim

Tempe Fire and Medical Rescue personnel continued searching Town Lake on  Thursday morning for a possible drowning victim, police said.

On Wednesday night, police and fire department units went to the lake after a witness called to report seeing an individual in the water who did not resurface, according to a release from the Tempe Police Department.

A boat was dispatched to the lake for a preliminary search last night with no results, and the search resumed this morning.
