    Man died after workplace incident at Johnson Press in Pontiac

    A 36-year-old man died early Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024, after a workplace incident at Johnson Press of America, 800 N. Court St. in Pontiac.

    According to a news release from the Livingston County Coroner’s Office, Pontiac Fire and EMS were dispatched at about 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 2 to Johnson Press for an employee involved in workplace incident.

    Employee Timothy Legner, 36, of Pontiac, was taken to the OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. No further details of the incident are being released at this time.

    The Livingston County Coroner’s Office, Pontiac Police and OSHA are investigating the incident.
