California-based company, SpinLaunch has created a way to launch satellites into orbit using its innovative approach to satellite launch. Their unprecedented approach requires no rocketfuel to launch and instead uses an Orbital Accelerator to generate kinetic energy, according to writer Joseph Shavit. SpinLaunch has the world's first Kinetic Space Launch System and is a rotational accelerator.

Satellites in Low Orbit range from 160-2,000 km high. They may be used for an array of purposes, including:

    • Communications
    • Satellite Imaging
    • Geographic Positioning Systems (GPS)
    • Space Monitoring
    • Military Applications

Thus, SpinLaunch provides a very affordable solution for getting satellites to orbit. SpinLaunch's fuel-less launches can instigate a new pathway to space regarding clean energy.
