    Winning Lottery Ticket Worth $20K Sold At West Hempstead Convenience Store

    A winning TAKE 5 ticket worth $20,247 was sold at a Long Island convenience store, New York Lottery announced.

    The ticket was purchased in West Hempstead, at the Stop & Go store located at 485 Hempstead Turnpike, for the drawing held Saturday, Aug. 31.

    TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

    Players can check their ticket status on the New York Lottery website.
