Geovanni Justice of Bridgeton and Christopher Perez of Vineland were arrested, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Sept. 30. Officers responded to a report of an active fight on the riverfront at around 2:17 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Investigators said Justice and Perez threw rocks and bottoms at the three victims. The two men also pulled out a knife at one point in the fight.

Perez and Justice were taken into custody and brought to Bridgeton police headquarters. They were charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Justice, 20, was held at Cumberland County Jail, and Perez, 25, was released to await court dates.
