A 12-year-old girl who went missing from her home for over 24 hours has been found, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday afternoon, Sept. 30.

Bethany Kimber Reeves, 12, of Spruce Road in Quincy Township, Franklin County had last seen at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, PSP Trooper Megan Frazer detailed in the release. She was heading to church according to the entry in the missing persons database.

She was thought to have met someone online, according to the database entry. Officials believed she could have been in or on the way to Kentucky, West Virginia, or Ohio.

But around 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, Reeves "was located safely in Delaware. The circumstances are still under investigation but will not be released at this time," Trooper Frazer said.

"Thank you to everyone who shared and got her photo and information out."

    Additional information was not released.
