Hackensack firefighters were called to the scene in the westbound lanes where they found the three trucks and one passenger vehicle near Exit 64 around 1:50 p.m., they said.

There were no injuries reported, however, a large fluid spill from the dump trucks required a DOT truck to respond and apply sand to the leaking fluid.

A Bergen County HazMat unit also responded to the scene. Several large tow trucks arrived to remove dump trucks.

New Jersey State Police are conducting the investigation.

I've been a commuter on 80 for 20 years and the dump truck drivers ARE the most dangerous people on the interstate by far. Top heavy trucks being driven by dudes always in a ridiculous hurry! Time is $ and these guys put all our lives at risk with that mantra!
