The 17-year-old, originally from Long Island’s Glen Cove, ultimately convinced all four coaches to turn their chairs during her blind audition on NBC’s “The Voice,” in an episode that aired Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Performing Five for Fighting’s 2001 hit, “Superman,” Roberts had both Stefani and Reba McEntire up on their feet in applause before the coaches made their cases, each pleading for the vocal powerhouse to join their team.

“Wow. Your voice is like butter,” McEntire said. “It is just so rich and creamy. I just loved it.”

Stefani heaped her own praise, saying she hadn’t been so excited all season.

“The first few notes, it was so honest and genuine because God gave you that gift,” the No Doubt frontwoman told Roberts. “You’re the perfect girl for my team.”

But it was ultimately Canadian crooner Michael Bublé who snagged Roberts for his team after praising her “wonderful range.”

“There was so much goodness pouring out of her that I was taken aback,” Bublé said. “Shye had a really unique and sultry voice, and I felt instantly that she had great potential.”

Roberts revealed that she missed her graduation from Lehigh Valley Charter School for the Arts in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, last spring to audition for the show.

She attended the school for the 2023-2024 school year and was a member of its treble and touring choir.

“Congratulations to Shye Roberts (Class of 2024) for knocking it out of the park on tonight's episode of NBC's "The Voice" with a four-chair turn! BRAVO!!!” the school said on Facebook.

“We look forward to watching your journey as you work on the team of Michael Bublé! We will be cheering!”

"The Voice" airs at 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday on NBC.

The winner of the popular singing competition takes home a cash prize of $100,000 and a recording deal with Universal Music Group.
