BOISE, Idaho — This article originally appeared in the Idaho Press. It was during an attack at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise in the early morning hours of March 20 that Idaho Department of Correction inmate Skylar Meade escaped from custody with help from an armed accomplice who opened fire on correctional officers.
BOI Airport relatively unscathed by technology outage
BOISE, Idaho — KTVB's Hector Mendoza spent Friday morning at the Boise Airport, after a Microsoft technology outage left airline carriers in a frenzy. According to BOI, Delta Airlines is facing some delays. They normally operate with six check in computers, but on Friday morning, they only have two operational. There are reported delays for flights to Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as delays to Minneapolis, Minnesota. A handful of flights to Minneapolis have been cancelled, so make sure to check your fight details before arriving at airport.

Oregon’s wildfire season is off to a busy start, and it's expected to stay that way the rest of the summer, Gov. Tina Kotek acknowledged at a Friday news conference. A whopping 434,821 acres in 30 large wildfires have burned in the state already this season, in addition to issuing 88 evacuation orders and warnings.
