3 men indicted in connection with 2022 Columbiana Centre mass shooting
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Three men have been indicted on several assault and weapons charges two years after a mass shooting at a Columbia mall. Marquise Robinson, 22, Amari Sincere-Jamal Smith, 23, and Jewayne Price, 24, were indicted on July 15 on multiple charges including attempted murder, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and unlawful possession of a pistol, according to records in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Public Index.

Charleston police need help identifying ‘Daniel Island John Doe’
Charleston, SC (ABC News) — Investigators in Charleston are hoping you can help identify a John Doe found in the area. The skeletal remains of a black male approximately aged 17 to 21 years old known only as ‘Daniel Island John Doe’ after the location his remains were discovered in a marsh in Daniel Island back in December of 2020. Forensic experts estimate the man had been dead for over a year. So far, investigators say only the skull has been recovered and a cause of death has yet to be determined.

RiverDogs and Cannon Ballers postponed by rain for second straight night
Charleston, SC - The Charleston RiverDogs Friday night contest against the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers was postponed due to rain. Thursday’s scheduled contest was also postponed. The teams will make up the game as part of a series next month in Kannapolis. A doubleheader, featuring a pair of seven-inning contests, remains scheduled for Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
