Dallas County Gives Update About New Administration Building in Adel
Progress is going well relating to the new administration building in Adel, which is set to open later this year. According to Dallas County, the north exterior and the last stone front on the south side entrance is expected to be finished by the end of July. Turner Construction has been hard at work for much of the year, and the building will be the new home for the Dallas County Board of Supervisors.
Dallas County Conservation Board Holding Voas Volunteer Day Saturday
There is a volunteer day coming up with the Dallas County Conservation Board on Saturday. The board is hosting a Voas Volunteer Day Saturday morning from 9-10:30am in the City of Minburn. According to the conservation board, the new bird blind is located in an area with moving water, but there is invasive autumn olive and honeysuckle that needs to be removed. The organization is asking for the public’s help to clear the area Saturday morning.
