Luka Doncic’s Mom’s Mavericks Cheerleader Photo Turns Heads Ahead of Game 5

The Dallas Mavericks (1-3) are looking to keep their NBA championship hopes alive with a win against the Boston Celtics in Game 5.

With the Mavs facing elimination in Game 4, star Luka Doncic went off against the Celtics, finishing with 29 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.

Cheering Doncic on at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, his mother and No. 1 fan, Mirjam Poterbin. The Slovenian superstar's mom has been a mainstay at games during her son's historic playoff run this season.

To show her support for the franchise, Poterbin posted a photo with the Mavericks cheerleaders on Instagram.

Poterbin, who could easily be mistaken for one of the Mavericks cheerleaders, recently became a grandmother for the first time.

Doncic and his fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Gabriela, in December 2023. Poterbin posted a photo of Gabriela following her birth and wrote, "So Proud💖My granddaughter Gabriela💖."

Poterbin, Goltes and Gabriela will all be cheering for Doncic and the Mavericks on Monday night. The 25-year-old guard needs to have another spectacular performance to ward off the Celtics from clinching another title.

Even while battling injuries, Doncic leads the league in points, assists, rebounds and steals during the Mavericks' postseason run.
