DALLAS (KDAF) — It’s a great season for Texas athletes. First, North Texas teen Jaedyn Shaw joins the USWNT Olympic roster , and now Dallas’ very own Sha’Carri Richardson is blazing her way to Paris with an incredible performance at the US Olympic track and field trials. Richardson stormed through the opening round of the women’s 200 meters, clocking a season-best 21.99 seconds, marking the second-fastest time in the world this year. So of course, she qualifies for the next round!

Just last Saturday, Richardson secured her spot to the Paris Olympics by winning the 100 with 10.71 seconds – the fastest time in the world this year.

So, get ready to cheer on this phenomenal runner as she brings Dallas pride to the Paris Olympics!
