Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is ready to sit out during training camp if he doesn't have a new contract from the team, an insider revealed.

Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reported that the 25-year-old receiver wants a pay raise but there has been little in the way of meaningful progress toward a new deal.

"There’s been little progress on extensions for Prescott and Lamb this summer," Watkins wrote. "For the second consecutive year, there’s a possibility a key starter will hold out of training camp. Lamb missed the entire offseason program and is expected to miss training camp if he doesn’t get a new deal."

Lamb is set to earn close to $18 million in the coming season after the team exercised the fifth-year option on his contract. Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports noted that with  top receivers scoring major deals across the NFL, Lamb would likely be in line for a significant raise.

"He could conceivably command at least $30 million per year on a new deal, with three other pass catchers -- the Minnesota Vikings' Justin Jefferson($35 million), Philadelphia Eagles' A.J. Brown ($32 million) and Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown ($30 million) -- eclipsing that mark," Benjamin wrote.

There is still close to three weeks remaining for Lamb and the Cowboys to find common ground on a new deal, with the team set to open training camp on July 24.
