Comparing Caitlin Clark's Stats to Dallas Wings' Arike Ogunbowale Before Wednesday Matchup

The Indiana Fever 's final matchup before the All-Star break takes place on July 17. The Fever (11-14) take on the Dallas Wings (5-19).

Dallas is last in the WNBA standings, but has one of the better guards in the league. Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale is arguably the most complete guard in the WNBA.

Ogunbowale's averages are as good as any other guard's stats in the league. She averages 22.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.7 steals. The veteran guard shoots 35.6% from the field and 33.8% from three point range.

The Dallas guard ranks No. 3 in the league in points per game and No. 1 in steals. Ogunbowale ranks No. 8 in assists per game.

The veteran player matches up with Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark on Wednesday. Clark is beginning to perform more consistently on offense in recent games.

Clark is averaging 16.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.5 steals this season. She ranks No. 1 in the WNBA in assists per game.

The Fever guard is shooting 39.8% on field goals and 33.2% from three point range.

The Indiana rookie will have the advantage of a better supporting cast. Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston and NaLyssa Smith are all having impressive seasons. Nevertheless, the competition between Clark and Ogunbowale will be one worth watching on Wednesday night.
