In his first full season with the Mavericks this year, Irving averaged 25.6 points, 5.2 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. This was an unexpected injury, yet is a recoverable one and happened at a time where he will have plenty of time to rehab it and get back into shape before next season arrives.
