Dallas police investigate fatal shooting of 51-year-old man
DALLAS, Texas — Dallas Police are investigating the fatal shooting of Tyrer Pearson, 51, who was found dead in a breezeway of an apartment complex on July 4. Officers responded to a PD Request by Fire at approximately 11:25 p.m. in the 7800 block of Marvin D. Love Freeway, northbound Service Road, according to a press release from the Dallas Police Department. Upon arrival, they discovered Pearson had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 102883-2024.
