Pet show in Bowling Green is the cat's meow
BOWING GREEN — The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department will hold its 63rd annual pet show on the Needle Hall stage at City Park, 520 Conneaut Ave., at 7 p.m. July 10. Pet enthusiasts are invited to participate and showcase their animals. Participants are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Categories for judging include best groomed, most unusual, shaggiest, best dressed pet, biggest rodent, largest and smallest dog, slimiest reptile, and bird that tweets/talks the loudest. Road resurfacing projects in full swing in Green
GREEN — Several roads throughout the City of Green are under construction as the city’s summer resurfacing program is underway. Paul Ciocca, an engineer for the City of Green, said this year’s resurfacing is ahead of schedule and going well. He said the city is contracting with Karvo Companies for the resurfacing of several residential streets throughout the city as work got underway in early May. Green City Council approved an $805,000 contract with Karvo Companies in April.
