3rd Maryland man arrested in Columbia murder-for-hire plot: DOJ
Authorities arrested a third Maryland man in connection with a murder-for-hire plot, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Maryland. Tyrik "Son-Son" Braxton, 28, joins previously convicted Daquante Thomas, 22, and Jourdain "JBlacc" Larose, 29, who were already sentenced in the plot. Braxton is sentenced to 25 years in federal prison in the death of Juan Ross on Oct. 23, 2020, the DOJ said.

Brown announced that the Grand Jury for Prince George’s County has handed down two indictments charging Rhonda Keisha Powell, also known as Rhonda Keisha Jackson, 38, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland with two counts of felony insurance fraud, one count of theft of property with a value of at least $25,000, and one count of attempted theft of property valued at $100,000 or more.
