A Dane County Circuit Court judge has ruled that the Town of Dane was within its legal rights last year to deny a permit for construction of a quarry on Bonetti Road. In a judgment order signed on July 19, Judge Jacob Frost affirmed the decision by the Town of Dane Board of Supervisors to refuse a conditional use permit be issued to DeForest-based Tri-County Paving, based on Tri-County's refusal to follow conditions laid out by local officials.

Regina Vidaver right experience to lead Dane County -- Erik Paulson
I’m supporting Regina Vidaver for Dane County executive, and I hope you will, too. In a field of good candidates, she stands out. In particular, she's very good on environmental issues and especially on public health. She oversees the chronic diseases and cancer programs at the state Department of Health Services. The largest item in Dane County’s budget -- over $300 million and 40% of the entire budget -- is for public health. For me, her public health experience really sets her apart and sets her up well for what we need in a county executive.
