Two killed after being hit by train near Cokeville
Two people are dead after their car was hit by a train just south of Cokeville Sunday morning. Captain Brian Andrews with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said that at roughly 11:15 a.m. several individuals decided to bypass a temporary road closure and detour on the railroad right-of-way when the vehicle became stuck on the tracks. “During the course of this family’s detour, their vehicle was struck by a north moving train while attempting to cross from the west side of the tracks to the east,” said Andrews.

The 25th Annual One Pitch Softball Tournament is quickly approaching. This tournament is set to take place in Casper on Saturday and Sunday, August 10-11. The One Pitch Tournament offers a three-game guarantee in men’s, women’s and coed. All games will take place at the Crossroads and North Casper Softball Complexes.
