Seasonal closure of Kiwanis Community Park section ends
The southern portion of Kiwanis Community Park, located off East Pershing Boulevard, has reopened following a seasonal closure for wildlife protection. The affected area contains a large pond that provides valuable habitat for many species of wildlife and is especially important to many species of waterfowl. Spring through early summer is a critical time of year for these species as they are nesting and raising their young. Disturbances during this time can cause them to abandon their nests or cause stress to young birds that cannot fly.

It’s Weird There Aren’t More Of These Businesses In Wyoming
I've enjoyed getting to know many veterans who call Wyoming home. Many weren't born in the Cowboy State but moved here after retiring from the service. According to reports, 44,403 vets live here, putting Wyoming at #3 with 7,571 veterans per 100,000 people. This state is a good option for vets, with lots of open space, outdoor experiences, veteran organizations, no state income tax, and educational benefits, which are a few reasons a veteran may choose to live here.
