PlatteForum announced today the organization will be holding a free Arts & Community Fair, sponsored by Vectra Bank and the RiNO Arts District, co-sponsored by Councilman Darrell Watson's office of District 9 and the Curtis Park RNO, from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Mestizo-Curtis Park on 32nd and Arapahoe in Curtis Park.

“We are excited to be hosting our first ever Arts and Community event,” Curator Ilan Gutin said. “Our goal is to bring our community the opportunity to get to know nearby organizations and artists, create fundraising opportunities, celebrate the arts and our youth, but most importantly, have fun!”

PlatteForum is a local nonprofit organization that connects youth and artists with the resources to reach their full potential while addressing the social issues that matter most to them and their communities. The organization hosts artists in residence and has this free arts and community fair and a new exhibit opening.

The upcoming Arts & Community Fair is a fun, inclusive arts and community event celebrating the diverse work of Denver's non-profit community. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. There will be more than 20 artist vendors, food, live performances by El Sistema Colorado and other community partners including Community Strategies for Change and Art Garage, and games for the community to enjoy on Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 2-6 p.m.
