GI Home Federal Has A 4-0 Weekend To End Regular Season
(Kearney, NE) - The Grand Island Home Federal baseball team wrapped up the regular season this past weekend with a 4-0 mark. Home Federal first started off with a comeback 3-2 win over Millard South on Friday in Hastings. GI then returned to Duncan Field on Saturday and defeated Lincoln Northstar by a final score of 4-1. Game two Saturday was a 13-0 win over the Colorado Dirt Devils. Home Federal then was placed in a Sunday match-up with Millard North in Kearney at Memorial Field. GI picked up the win by a final score of 3-1. Home Federal is currently on a seven-game winning streak heading into the post-season with an overall record of 31-9. OPD investigates cutting in north Omaha
Police are investigating a cutting in North Omaha Sunday.
