    Danville Fire Dept. battles late night Fourth of July fire

    DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — Danville firefighters battled a late night fire on the Fourth of July.

    Firefighters responded to the 300 block of Porter after reports of a garage on fire near a residence. Danville firefighters were quick to extinguish the flames with assistance from additional crews.

    No injuries were reported, and as of Friday afternoon, the cause of the fire remains undetermined.

    WCIA reached out to the Danville Fire Department for more details and has not heard back yet. We will provide updates as we learn more.
