Mosaic City Church bringing community together with “Feeding Your Soul” breakfast

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) – The community in Danville is getting closer and closer, all through the efforts by a local church.

Mosaic City Church is hosting a community “Feed Your Soul” Breakfast on Sunday, July 14th.

On Sunday, at the Danville YMCA , instead of their regular service, the Mosaic City Church will be hosting a breakfast meet and greet.

Breakfast will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and lunch will be from noon until 1:30 p.m.

The lead pastor LeStan Hoskins says it’s all about bringing people closer together as a community.

“We live in a world today, where people feel like their story doesn’t matter,” Hoskins said. “In the church, your story matters. Sometimes people feel like they don’t matter. Their thoughts, their ideas. You matter. You are important. And you have a plan. You have a purpose here.”

He said feel free to bring any food or drink of your choice, but most importantly bring your community.
