Suspect breaks into vacant home

Danville, Pa. — An unknown suspect broke into a vacant home in Derry Township and stole cash from a dresser drawer.

Trp. Womelsdorf of state police at Milton says the burglary at the home on Degreen Road occurred between July 4 and 16.

The homeowner told police he believes the suspect got in either through a locked cellar door or through a side window after removing the air conditioning unit. The suspect then took $15 from a dresser drawer.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Milton at 570-524-2662 and reference incident number PA24-936999.
