Daphne road resurfacing project taking place this week — what drivers should know

DAPHNE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A road resurfacing project on the County Road 13-County Road 64 roundabout in Daphne will begin this week.

According to a Facebook post from the city , the initial phase of roadwork will begin around 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 18. The project is set to conclude on Friday, July 19, at 7 a.m.

City officials encouraged area drivers to plan alternative routes if they travel on the roadway and to use caution while driving in the area.

“The project will take place in segments, causing road closures with detours,” the post said. “Additional closure information will follow and be shared on Facebook, Instagram and the MyDaphne app as work continues.”
